A World We Dare To Imagine Final: Roots The mission of my organizations Roots is to bring people together in planting a new movement towards ending human trafficking. My organization will collaborate with Real Life Church’s Undergrounds, a successful coffee shop that gives their sales proceeds towards organizations that are for such a cause . We will expand on the business and create a chain of coffeehouses to generate more revenue for the organizations. This allows the organizations to help those individuals out in rescuing them, giving them medical or psychological aid, and helping them start new lives. Real Life is a mega church and has significant power to spread the word about this initiative. From the roots of Real Life Church's network with other churches across the world, our organization will build a chain of coffee houses in their locations. When you walk into any of our coffee houses, you will see Underground’s and our core statement, “using coffee to change lives...

A World We Dare To Imagine #1 My first step in making this world a better place would be to collaborate with my church, Real Life Church, to create a movement towards ending human trafficking. Real Life has a successful coffeeshop called Undergrounds that gives their sales proceeds towards organizations that are for such a cause. I would want to expand on this business and create a chain of coffeehouses to generate more revenue for the organizations. Through Real Life Church's network with other churches across the world, I would start to build the chain of coffeehouses in their locations. Real Life is a mega church and has significant power to spread the word about this initiative. In addition, they can provide employment opportunities as well to support the coffee shops. Random Blog Post #3 Ever since I was young, I have had a strong relationship with my grandpa on my mom's side. I am very close to my family, but especially to him. My grandpa is the most generous and loving man I know. A majority of our conversations surround food. Ever since I could remember, he has always asked where I wanted to eat and would take me wherever my heart desired. I am always captivated by what he has to say whether it is telling me about his day taking care of my younger cousin Scotty to sharing about his past family vacations with my mom. He is the bes...

There are increasing greenhouse gasses within our atmosphere and an increasing inconsideration for our environment's health. It's sad to see how the wealthiest fossil fuel companies benefit at our earth's expense. I am moved by this chapter because I feel strongly about protecting the environment. I feel that it is important to care about the environment because it is for the sake of our society's health, especially those who are poverty and live in poor areas that are more affected by the consequences of climate change. I believe it's especially important to teach the younger generation about these values and how the environment impacts us. This chapter reminded me of when I was a part of the children's ministry and how on one day, I taught them about the blessing of God's b...
